ITEMS

• DETECTIVE'S BADGE – This will show you your name. Anyone who manages to get hold of your Detective’s Badge will find out your name, too.
• GUN AND BULLET – The Gun is used to kill someone. You can aim it at anyone, and there is a 70% chance of killing the target. There is a 10% chance of hospitalising the target. An announcement in the topic will show the shooter and the target. The Gun needs a Bullet to work. The Gun can only be shot twice per day.
• SILENCER – The Silencer is a one-use item that will prevent your identity from being revealed when you shoot someone
• BULLETPROOF VEST – The Bulletproof Vest is a one-use item that will prevent someone from being killed or hospitalised by someone who shoots at you.
• RIOT HELMET – The Riot Helmet is a one-use item that will prevent someone with the Shinigami Eyes from finding out your name
  
• POISON – The Poison is a one-use item that kills someone. You can target anyone, and there is a 100% chance of killing the target. You remain anonymous if you kill someone with the Poison.
• ANTIDOTE – The Antidote is a one-use item that will prevent you from being Poisoned.
• DEATH NOTE – The Death Note is an item which you can use to write someone’s name in. That person will die at a time that you specify (if there is no time specified, then that person dies in 40 seconds).
• UNLUCKY CHARM – You get this if you be an idiot. You don't want it.

CLASSES

• L – L's objective is to remove all Death Notes from play. He does this by killing Kira, and taking the Death Note from his body. L's key skill is to use his influential power to get people to do his bidding. He also gets the Ability to Probe and Recruit. At the beginning of the game, he can choose to play either Aggressively (Gun and Bullets allowed, Riot Helmet not allowed), or Defensively (Riot Helmet allowed, Gun and Bullets not allowed).
• WATARI – Watari is L's right-hand man. He's publicly known, so you can talk to him if you wish to contact L. Watari can pick two items to start off with out of the following (duplicates allowed): Riot Helmet, Antidote, Defensive Vest and/or Bullet. He also has the ability to Search. He may also be given the choice to order certain items at given points. If you're opposing L, it may be a good idea to get rid of Watari, as he's extremely important to L.
• KIRA – Kira has possession of the Death Note. This is his primary form of killing people. He gets the Hide ability.
• YOTSUBA BOSS – The Yotsuba Boss uses networking to strengthen his intelligence. He can Spy on people to find out who trades what, and what items they're trading. The more people he has in his corporation, the more chance of finding out stuff with the Spy ability. He kills people with Poison, so try to find Antidotes. He has the ability to Recruit. If the Yotsuba Boss dies and there are still people in the Yotsuba Corporation, then one random member becomes the Yotsuba Boss, and he receives a Poison.
• THIEF – The Thief can use the Steal ability to take items from people.
• CIVILIAN – The main class. You start off with nothing, but you can still play an important roll; the 3 main forces (L, Kira and Yotsuba) will want you on their side.

ABILITIES (ALL ABILITIES CAN BE USED ONCE PER DAY (UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE))

• PROBE – Finds out someone's last action (in the last 24 hours)
• SEARCH – Finds out one item in someone's Inventory
• HIDE – Can prevent your inventory from being Searched or Stolen for 12-24 hours (you specify). You cannot use or trade items in your inventory if they are hidden. If you die whilst your items are hidden, then they are removed from play. This Ability can only be used once.
• SCAN – At the cost of 1 page in your Death Note, you can Scan one person.
• SPY – A passive ability for the Yotsuba Boss, that lets him find out the items and the traders of a trade. The chance of a successful spy is 9X%, where X is the amount of people in the Yotsuba Corporation.
• RECRUIT – L and Yotsuba Boss can Recruit Civilians and Thieves into their Team. If L does this, the person becomes an L's Detective, and gets the ability to Probe. If the Yotsuba Boss does this, the person becomes a Yotsuba Henchmen. L can recruit anonymously, but Yotsuba Boss cannot.
• STEAL – Thieves can choose to Steal from anyone. They will receive one random item from that person's Inventory. There is usually a 70% chance of them Stealing successfully. If they don't Steal successfully, then the target will find out who tried to Steal from them.
• VOTE – This time around everyone can vote, including Thieves and the Yotsuba Boss. To vote, you must say Vote: X in the main topic. The person with the most votes at the end of the day will be voted off (providing that there are at least two votes for someone).
