MFGG Smiley Competition - Top 5 Voting

Welcome to the MFGG Smiley competition. Our old smileys have served us faithfully, but it's time to see what else the community can come up with.

We're looking for a new set of emoticons for the new board, with a strong emphasis on expression. We know a lot of you will create beautiful smileys, but it's no good if you can't tell the difference between what half the smileys are trying to convey.

Your smileys must be between 16x16 and 22x22 pixels (inclusive, 20x20 or less preferred for base size) in size.
Your smileys should be Mario-themed, but they do not have to be Mario's head.

You must create smileys for the following expressions:

The following smileys are optional, but you are encouraged to make as many as you can. Some of them may end up being redundant when translated to your set, so don't bother with them if that's the case.

* You may go a little beyond the size restriction if you make a soveryhappy icon.

The competition will last one week from the time of this post. Once the competition ends, we will do a top 5 voting as with normal sprite competitions.

Once the top 5 sets are picked, the winner will be chosen from those sets by a panel vote of the mod team. We reserve the right to fall back onto the old Mario smileys if we are not happy with any of the new sets.

Sprite competition badges will still be awarded based on a popular vote. The winner of the popular vote and panel vote will both additionally receive a forum event badge.

because I have some old smileys I once submitted to a TSR emotion compo that didnt win

Ok.

I put these smileys in separate images. The smileys go in the same order as the ones on the first post. As well as the optional ones. I've done the devious face, the shifty face, and soveryhappy.
