Sure, why not?

It's not like the annotations are required -- they're just there for my amusement and/or information.

I find myself writing "cool story, bro" on a lot of my feminism excerpts, too, mostly because feminists love going off on tangents about personal experience or family experience.

Oh, and a lot of the time it reminds me to bring it up in class and make the professor feel like a fool when he/she tries to explain it.
