Download

Something I whipped up last night and this morning after playing some Super Marisa Land. This is my first fangame with no D&D nor solids.

Controls are arrows, Z and X

Known glitches:
Pressing Z and X at the same time allows you to swing hammer during jump.
Glitching through walls may still be possible.

Credit to NO Body for the Waluigi sprites.

Looks OK to me.

Though the jumping is a bit floaty (I think it was a bit too slow), and the floor was kind of slippery.

continue it :>

doesn't work for vista which is a pain seeing as it forces me to get that converter

though if you want my personal opinion I'd say no. But keep in mind I have a really tight standard, and this just seems like ordinary game #million

Well it's certainly different from an average Mario game, because it has Waluigi, and Waluigi has a hammer.

But at this point, that's pretty much all there is. I have no idea what you want to make out of this, so I can't say if you should continue it or not. If you increase the wackiness over time which appears to be the main part of the game, I guess why not.

I'm planning to make this into a "how far can you get" kind of game (much like the original Super Mario Bros). There are extra continues, but they are limited. Instead of collecting 100 coins for an extra life, you collect 500 coins for an extra continue. Of course there are going to be multiple paths (one which can only be gotten to as Normal Waluigi and to another as Hammer Waluigi).

So far I have two enemies, noteblocks, invisible ?-blocks and Carnage Waluigi (Waluigi's invincible form, which works like Mega Mario).

Half of the first level is done (levels are physically longer than in average Mario games because of the screensize)
