Don't get me wrong, i really like them. good shading and everything.

But they lack emotion which, unfortunately, is the effect everyone wants.

Even then, like Wolfgator said, there's very little emotion, and to be blunt, some of it seems half-assed. What looks like the SVH Mario for example looks incredibly indemonic (not that that's a word, but you get the point). The shading is nice, just fix it up somehow to give off more emotion.
