My Kuribon, OMG, the SMW goomba? RUN!!!

Well, recently, I decided to make some custom sprites. Now, these are some of my first customs, keep in mind, and so I thought "what is easier to do than Kuribon?"
So, I got to work:

I used the SMA4 palette because I thought it was nicer than the original.
I know it is short of a few poses such as parachuting, and with wings but, to be honest, I really don't know how to make diagonal sprites. I might make some wings later.
So, tell me what you think of it and how I can improve.

My one gripe would probably be that when animated, it would look a bit awkward because the left foot (our right) seems like it's pointing the wrong direction. The eyes also look right (our left) twice, which will make it further weird.

Aside from that, it's pretty decent.

It's good, the eyes ahould be bigger and the body should be wider though.

@mirror: I would change the size, but I think it looks okay as it is. I also would love to change the size of the eyes but I find they wouldn't look right if I did. Thanks for the advice anyway.

The foot could still use some work. It should look like it's walking forward. Why is it's left foot sticking out in a weird direction?

Oh, NOW I see what you mean... I am going to make it into a bigger sheet with more things from SMW. I'll change it for that.

Why not try to make a para kuribon?

EDIT: 11/09/09: I know this topic has kinda gone downhill, gone back a few pages etc. but I have still been working on it and I'm pretty pleased with the result. Here it is:

As you can see, the walking anim has been completely redone, I have added a build-a-Kuribon section and wings for the Para Kuribon. Please give comments!
