EDIT: I'm done, I'm disgusted with the hair. user posted image

WIP, mylips are to dang big, oh well I have enough room on the page for another portrait/revision portrait. It's been a long time since I drew myself and I need to start doing it again for class. So yeah, done in charcoal and it looks loads better on paper but still it's not really all tha tgood. C+C CONSTRUCTIVELY FOLKS!

No I am indeed white, I belive it's the way I drew my lips that makes it appear as if I'm of the African American appearance.

I realize my hair is kinda fro-ish rightnow but when I finish it I belive that may go away... I'm still extremely disatisfied with the lips.

Curves are only for when I'm rendering (rarely done) or coloring(even more rare). This way I can formalize the drawing, into a set number of lines. It's incredibly useful, and alot of fine artists do it(which I am not, and am so far from being it's not even funny.). How ever, I may oneday soon, do a fully shaded or digitally painted curved lined portrait of myself.

Everybody has that, it's less an ability than it is the differences between people of different races.

On-topic though, I like the sketch. Only thing I can really see wrong with it is the lips (going by a photo you posted not that long ago) and that the ears seem really far back.
