I picked up melee today for no reason, mainly cuz I remembered it being so fun, and, compared to Brawl, it's practically unplayable now. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the events and the items in melee (the ones that didn't make it to brawl) but game play wise, I just can't imagine how I enjoyed it so much. -------------------- Gift art/alt. refs Official Refs

Pichu was stronger than Pikachu. :/

Also, the characters as well. Take brawl, add melee's characters and balances, add melee's modes, and you've got a game that's 100x better than melee.

Oh yeah, real fast paced. Like how you have to come to a near dead stop to pick up an item, or how nearly every attack causes you to pause for a moment (that may be due to who I use though)

I find Brawl much more enjoyable. It's a nice even pace that lets me think out my battles, and still string combos.

items and stage hazards are way too ****ing crazy in brawl

i had fun with items on and all that in melee

in brawl its no fun

and playing w/o items on boring stages is pretty boring

Because making a game regress makes it better?

Brawl DOES have Melee's characters and modes. And more "balanced" fighters.

Melee was much too fast paced and had flaws up the ass.

Believe you me, Brawl is really ****ing fun with a friend. It's nice to have fun for once (which is what Super Smash Bros is intended for); Melee just seemed too competitive.

sorry for liking being able to follow what's going on on the screen vs having no ****ing clue what's going on

i mean yeah holy **** what the **** is going on is cool for a little while but it gets old fast because you have no clue what's going on

don't really care about competitive vs non competitive crap because i suck at games anyway
