Someone explain to me

all of brawl's stages are horrendous


they're all the same flat **** and even the ones that try to be diverse are annoying as **** (**** you new pork city)

Balanced Brawl/Brawl+ is better.

I don't like Melee better then Brawl, but there are a few things Nintendo could have brought over from Melee to brawl like every character having their own target test stage and a few characters. To me both of these games have flaws that I don't like very much or stand out. In melee I didn't like the clone characters very much when I first played the game. (Says a person who mainly played Dr. Mario.) Some characters were just annoying to fight against if you weren't "skilled" enough.(Example Shiek because of his/her speed and Fox and Falco because of their abusable lasers. Brawl has it's share of characters with abusable moves too.) In Brawl the change of pace compared to Melee took a while to get used to, but I like it just fine. I do not like the random tripping system for the most part. Sure it can be funny if someone trips right before a powerful attack is used and it can result in laughter from the people playing, but it messes with a player's strategy or combos and results in a really angry player. Also some of the events in Brawl weren't very creative in my opinion. (Turn two fighters into eggs, fight three Sonics, fight a gaint DeDeDe with two other tiny DeDeDes.) Both games have their flaws, but I don't think one game is better then the other just because of a few things people loved in another game.

Speaking of the tripping system, what was the point of it?
