But I do, and from what I can tell, so do a lot of Americans.

I mean the whole deal with GM looked pretty suspicious, considering Washington fired some CEOs. That means the government had to have been controlling some of the industry. In the case with the government run health care, we have multiple people in Washington say that they are working towards a single-payer system and full government run healthcare, not the choice between private or public. If they do that then they will be controlling the healthcare industry, which is another socialist concept.

Also, just because socialists don't think Obama is socialist doesn't mean he isn't socialist. Likewise, just because I think he is socialist doesn't mean he is. He either is or he isn't. All I'm doing is watching what he is doing and so far he's looking socialist in at least one way or another.

Well of course Obama won't come out and say he's Socialist. That would be like giving himself a pink slip. What I'm saying is that what he is doing seems rather socialist to me. If he is socialist he would of course hide it to he COULD get support and thus get elected. I'm pretty sure the corporations at least didn't/don't know if he is or not.

Once again, I'm just stating my opinion. I'm only watching what he does and drawing conclusions.

My Mum said that just because he's President, all the blame is going to be hoisted on him, even though this was going to happen regardless of who is President. She was right, I guess.

I'm a "My Country, Right or Wrong" kind of person, and a conservative, and really all I can do is laugh at these guys. The things they're accusing Mr.Obama for are pretty funny.

Unfortunately neither his bill nor the house's bill agrees. It says we can keep our private insurance, but we can't change anything about it. If you decide you don't like your insurance provider, you can't switch to another private one. If you're ensured by your company and you quit or get fired, you can't keep your old plan and you can't get a private plan. So yes, we can keep our plans if we want, but if you lose or quit it, you can't get it back, and you will be forced into the Government plan.

I still don't understand.

also, don't bring up the "long lines" thing, because if you're really sick or hurt, you'll get in and not have to wait
