Just to clarify, how much does the mic come into play? Mine is broken...

I haven't encountered any uses for it yet, but there's a mic test option right on the title screen, so I assume it plays a sizable role later on...

Maybe at some point the buttons become disabled and you have to shout MARIO or LUIGI to jump

...That would actually be very very awesome.

I'm getting it when Kingdom Hearts 3458/2 Days comes out at September 29th.

So I can get all 3 games at the same time.
And the other game is Rune Factory Frontier.

I actually just got passed the first segment that uses the blowing. It's not actually required, as punching works too, which is handled via the touch screen at that point. I actually found the punching to be more effective anyway. So yeah, I'm about five hours in and the mic isn't required yet...

By the way, everyone, BUY THIS GAME. That is all.

Like Toodles said, this is a fun game. The platforming parts inside of bowser are actually pretty fun.

Just got it today, and so far I'm having more fun with this one than the previous two M&Ls. Smashing stuff with Bowser is so much damn fun!

It's not anything at all like Super Paper Mario, though. In fact, just earlier I was thinking about the great job Alpha Dream did creating a third game in the series that still fit with the others while mixing things up. This is the equivalent to what Super Paper Mario should have been.

Bowser's portion of the game is far superior to the Bros. I'm about to storm Bowser's Castle. And I'm actually having fun looking for Blitties, wtf.

So far the game is all pros and no cons!

But midbus was a pain to take down.

Yeah, it really does feel like Bowser's game with the bros just along for the ride. Maybe they'll pull a Wario Land on us and make the next game just star Bowser. (Hey, I can dream, can't I?)

I just bought a new copy for half the retail price.

The game has 36 piracy checks in it.

And right now it works on every flash cart except on the R4 and DSTT.

It doesn't work on my flash cart (loldstt), and I don't have a credit card, so I can't import the game. >:
