What the hell is this, I get around 1% (highest was 7%) in no$gba when playing one of the minigames while it runs at 130% on the overworld and around 350% in battles. Don't tell me this is another one of the antipiracy things....I'm getting sick of these, and if that was one, they ruined the only REAL NEW stuff. Two minigames left. Oh well, looks like I have to wait until the timer runs....at nearby constant 2%.

Not like you have a right to complain. If you procure the game in an illegal way, you get no support and no guarantees that it works.

Just the way the cookie crumbles.

It's been out for 2 days officially, ROM for about 4 days.

And yeah, the game came out September 12th, I haven't followed Pokemon related things in a while so I don't really know what date the English release would probably be at, wikipedia says "Spring 2010" though.

Your statement is only 50% true - in this case, I did download the ROM, yeah, but you never know how the other one got it. Dumping the ROM image from an original cart and using the dumped ROM (for whatever reason, most likely the speed issue most Pokémon games have aka one minute = one battle) would be perfectly legal.

Actually, I wasn't intending to complain about it but rather wanted to know if it's like that for everyone or if I'm the only one experiencing this (which means I should get a better comp) because most antipiracy checks I've encountered don't lag the game but make it crash or get stuck in an infinite loop/etc, though the massive lag makes me think that it is.

doubt it's antipiracy since there's absolutely none of it anywhere else in the game

sounds like your comp just can't emulate that part right or no$gba has a problem with it

They can, by running lots of unneeded processes in the background, like drawing a massive amount of 3D objects outside of the view or something. Though yeah, why the hell would they do that only in ONE part of the game (that isn't even needed to complete the story) while the rest (not counting the blackscreen at startup since it can be fixed anyway) works absolutely fine? Doesn't make sense to me. Probably I should try running it on my laptop which has 2x as much RAM as this thing does....if I ever get it back, that is.

'Flashcard' just reminded me that I actually got one.
.....which doesn't make anything easier, of course there are alot of antipiracy things for flashcards, mostly the saving issue....though it won't accept the save 'cause of savefreezing patch/original incompatibility and I don't really plan on starting a new game now just to find out that there's another check besides saving and blackscreen on startup.

It's kinda funny how Nintendo puts effort in making pirating harder when there are fixes out 2 days after the ROM has been leaked. Anyone that downloads ROMs has at least basic internet knowledge aka knows how to use Google.......I would've never though that they'd actually get serious with this stuff and I'll never understand the way they think, nor why they think that blocking stuff would prevent anyone from pirating.
