Sound not working in Camtasia Live Output

Hi.

I've been trying to stream stuff on Ustream recently, and I've been using Camtasia 5's live output function to do so.

I don't know if it works in regular recording, because I never use it, but whenever I'm tinking with the audio settings it definitely shows that it's working in the preview.


For the record, I am using stereo mix and not a microphone since I am streaming from my screen. There is no microphone plugged in, and I have the audio settings in windows set to the proper hardware. I really cannot figure out the problem.


EDIT: oh, oh yeah. I'm also positive that my stereo mix output IS being recorded properly, because I've been streaming the sound to my friend over skype while streaming the video as an alternative.

F'whoops so it seems like it has nothing to do with Camtasia, but ustream itself because camtasia doesn't even do sound in live output and ustream can just take the audio directly from Realtek Audio Input


but then, I'm still having a problem. I have all of my hardware properly configured, and it still refuses to broadcast sound. What the ****, seriously?
