It doesn't look bad though, and it definitely matches the foreground elements really well. And while AA could make it look better, there isn't any any in the foreground, so I'd say don't do it, unless you want to do it for Mario, the enemies, and the tilesets, too.

Only crit I have is that the shading on the first one seems off, especially on that hill in the middle, I have no idea whats going on there. As for the second one, the circles seem to stencily. Maybe smoothen them out, blend them a bit. Also maybe make them a different shade of green. Right now they are a bit distracting. It's good to make the BG look nice, but you don't want it to take away from the focus of the game. We could, if you wanted to, use some background related help with the CFP if you have some time. -------------------- Gift art/alt. refs Official Refs
