Is it bad that this battle took much longer than the final battle of PiT?

The PiT battle is indeed long

There should be "save points" or whatever during the long battles imo

yeah you can rebattle all of the bosses and then there are some bonus ones

My friend told me today that he spent 30 minutes fighting that boss even though it was easier than the final boss of PiT and SS.

From what I've seen it takes about 20 minutes to beat it for an average player.

Some take 10 minutes, some 30. :|

I hate easy bosses that rely on time to beat, which is what it is in BiS, from what I've heard.

It was easy if you equipped atleast one of the adult brothers with the Ulti-Free Badge and kept spamming Mix Flowers until she died.

Wow... what, did you like, take multiple bathroom breaks or something? I mean, I beat it pretty darn fast. You just have to know when to use what.

Heres how I did it:
Spoilers:

When fighting Shadow Bowser, use the Magikoopa attack until Fawful heals him, then punch his stomach and eat him. When you eat him, Have both Mario and Luigi use the spring hat attack on each eye, this should be enough to break them. If it isn't enough, use the meteor attack next to finish them. After that, use the snack box (or whatever it's called) to take out the legs. After all that, finish off the head with Falling Star.

As for after game extras, no, there really aren't any. The game starts you up at the last place you saved, although, unlike the other games, you can easily leave, and their is a special boss challenge inside of Bowser, and a bonus boss that you can beat before the end of the game.

I see... Maybe it took so long because I didn't have the Magikoopa attack yet. I just kept using Shy Guy Squad.

Or maybe I'm just slow.

Dark Bowser revives after you beat him. Thats how you get Fawful Bug to leave his body. You'd have to beat him twice at least.
