Both sides are full of it but if I had to pick one, conservative.

I don't know, I think lean more to the liberal side. But I'm in high school, and don't fully get politics.

liberal and conservative mean different things depending on the country.

Self-inflicted labels are really the downfall of America's political system.

They encourage people not to think for themselves and vote using mob psychology instead of their common sense.

And also gives rise to stupid political rivalries that never have to exist and only inconvenience the general population.

The only people that benefit are the political leaders, and yet common people never realize they're being played like cards by the higher-ups.

Unnecessarily disputing labels that really aren't that important is really the downfall of America's intellectual system.

It encourages people to not get anything done and spend countless hours bickering over the meaning and usefulness of common terms instead of working around their small qualms and dealing with it.

And also gives rise to stupid drawn out arguments that never have to exist and only inconvenience and annoy the general population.

In other words. I'm a conservative, but I've ended my blind following of the Republican party because frankly, I don't think they know what they're doing anymore than Democrats do. So yeah. Parties are for queers.
