You should choose the case LAST. You usually want to choose the Motherboard FIRST, because the Motherboard will determine what kinds of parts you can use. However, this case does support Standard ATX and Micro ATX, so choose a Motherboard with a Standard ATX or Micro ATX Form Factor. Those are the 2 most common types of boards. I recommend Standard ATX, as it tends to have the most Expansion slots, and there are a lot of them that have 2 PCI-E 16x Slots for Crossfire/SLI.

You should choose the case LAST.

That's what I usually do. But, this person was all "I want a case that's see-through and has some lights inside."

Which is rare for me. Usually people come to me telling me what they want in terms of RAM, Hard drive size, etc. But, this kid was all "See-through case with lights. I'll leave the other parts up to you."

So, in this case I knew what kind of tower he wanted. Only thing is, it screws up with my normal routine.

It's an ATX mid-tower, it will fit just about everything available in the desktop market.

The USB and firewire ports on the front are standard headers on most motherboards. I've never encountered headers for fan control or thermal readout, but those two pieces might be self-contained. It's not clear. Either way those features have no value.

Why is finding a good quality fan+heatsink for a lga775 socket so difficult? The search is giving me crap results (according to the reviewers anyway).
