Decided to make the concept "theme parks" for my next comic.

Well the sprites are extremely basic, totally uneven and not at all human.


It also was very lacking in the humor factor.

...cant say I didnt expect that.

Also, the "Humans" are supposed to look like chess pawns.

What why?

.....not sure.

So shouldn't this mean that the sprites could've looked better?

As Fez said, it's not really that funny.

The lack of quality graphics somewhat contributes to this. This also limits the amount of emotions and actions that the characters can actually do.

In the second panel, for example, when the red dude is preparing for a barf, he should actually look queezy, holding a hand to cover his mouth, or even have his cheeks puff up to magnify the effect.

In the third panel, as another example, when he actually does "barf", there's no vomit being shown. His eyes just disappear, which doesn't really make sense.


Basically, try to make your characters seem like they're doing their actions as opposed to just standing in one spot for three panels.


Also, Vomit Comet? You stole that from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, didn't you? >.>

Well they don't even look like those so.

This looks so basic and effortless it's actually kind of funny.

The part that's actually supposed to be funny isn't though.

But honestly, try to work on your style. And be open to critisism :c

It should've been made more obvious. >.>

Problem with having a comic with REALLY basic graphics is it has to be REALLY funny to make up for it.

And this isn't even slightly funny...

All the comments above are true: not funny, basic sprites, horrible colour choice and their heads look semi-detached from their bodies.
I guess if this is your first then it's okay, but if you're going to make it into a series, then read my above comments.

Improve the sprites and the humour.

I kinda like those comics....
