if you were in iScribbles last night you'd know what I'm rambling about


So basically the plan is to make this an isometic fangame; Zeph suggested 4 angles, I suggested 8 or more, but either way the plan is isometic (as much as we love Mode 7)

What to program it in: I'm not sure who else is confirmed to want to be involved in this, but I use Multimedia Fusion 2.0 (and know it well when it comes to levels lol) but I know a lot of people here use Game Maker so I dunno

Characters:
Was said in the chat to start with 8 and unlock more, and you don't get in unless you do your own sprites (rotations are hell for just one character already)

so yeah discuss criticize make this topic awesome bring some 20 page drama then lock I dunno

I was going to try Super MFGG Kart but it would be a level hack with the track editor.
I already made some good battle courses.

We haven't gotten that far yet, but I'm thinking of doing a modification of the SMK karts to the DS style karts (maybe resize them 2x though and smoothen them out)

(and to add the program to use isn't even decided)

If you're using SMK sprites good luck trying to get that many frames for that many characters without cheap edits.

There's a reason it took me over a year to finish Diddy Kong.

Been there done that with the Kyle sheet, so rotations will be reduced to assumingly around 8 or so


Also all this is just a Mario Kart fan game but with MFGGers slapped on, so I don't think the "MFGG People" label should keep this from getting a lot of development
