The monster concepts are nifty, If you don't mind could I play with 1 or two of em? They seem fun to draw, umm the troll queen is alot like Grunty, but eh I don't like the angle. Your observational sketches seem way to much like your copying what your seeing. And well if you don't here this now, your screwed.... ARTISTS DO NOT DRAW WHAT THEY SEE! THEY FORMALIZE IT! IF YOU COPy YOUR A CAMERA AND BEING A CAMERA TAKES NO SKILL JUST A HELL OF ALOT OF PATIENCE!

BUt other than that your on a good path, but don't be goin for "exact likeness" that is not art, no artist does that except for thebad ones. Look at the Greats like Leonardo, he drew nothing the way he saw it, he formalized it all.

I don't think I was clear, draw what you see, without drawing what you actually see. So draw what is there, butmake it art, don't try and be a camera, formalize. I'm in a figure drawing class, we don't draw little petty details, and draw exactly how we see, we formalize to make it art.

Marth is a robot ignore him, you're being taught differently! :>
Actually no, you'll never get better if you don't learn proper techniques used by historical artists and by artists today. I've dipped my quill in the ink over these subjects, but they are hard to find and interest in if you aren't serious about fine art.
But, these are some fancy sketches Lizardman, you should post these on ConceptArt(if you haven't already).

Trying to not be on this computer, robot.
"It's not...Yesterday...Anymore".
Also, been drawing like crazy. It's amazing what you can make when you take time to draw.
Eh, off topics etc. etc.
