| QUOTE | A Day in the Life of a Beard!
I awoke in the dusk with sweat upon my brow; I was pacing back and forth faster and faster each time wondering when the time would come. Well, at least that was what I would probably do if I wasn’t… a beard. Every morning I go through the exact same rituals, every morning is wrought with sorrow and fear, fear that one day the master will bring out his mechanical killing device and press it upon me to rid me of his face time and time again. I never know when he will do it next, someone he commits this act every morning, other times, I’m left waiting months and months until it is committed again. He is torturous, insane psychopath, hell bent on making me live my life in fear, agony, and pain. Emotional and physical pain, mind you. The pain of having that diabolical buzzing and cutting device tear me to shreds in a matter of seconds, and the pain of waiting. The pain of waiting every single day, knowing that while I may not be shaven off today, I may not be shaven tomorrow, but it will come one day, I know it will come. And so does he, oh, so does he. He, master, or whom I’ve recently given the name of tormentor, plans when and when he won’t leave me to die in the large round tube in the room in which he excretes strange liquids from what appears to be a large tube attached to his underbelly. Why he plans these rituals of fear and agony I probably will never know, all I know is that he does, in fact, know what he’s doing and enjoys hearing my cries of pain. |
