Started Taking counseling

Yeah, taking counseling to help social awkwardness and emptiness. So far I only met the counselor and she seems qualified enough, ha. If it works I'd recommend it to anyone who has social emptiness/too much time on their hands. Also, get a job.

there are people out there that will share your interests and will be willing to have a nice conversation with you

no need for counseling

unfortunately for me, i've only met three people that were absolute bamfs and they didn't even know it

If it is, I swear, psychologists're looking for any way to convince you that you need to pay them.

I swear, psychology is such a joke most of the time -- social awkwardness in general is a self-fulfilling prophecy, and a "problem" (if you even want to call it that, when really, all it is is a social stigma against people who aren't Chatty Cathies) that you can fix on your own without throwing money at a doctor with an over-inflated ego and a MD in a joke science.

Counseling helps a lot. It's nice to have somebody that you can discuss personal issues with.

Family members tend to react extremely emotionally, and friends never really give a ****. With a counselor you don't really have to worry about offending somebody because it's the counselor's job to sit down and help you with whatever issue you're having.

I dunno, it helped me a lot back when I was going through depression and almost committed suicide.

Psychologists love this.

People paying you gobs of money for self-imagined problems that everyone undergoes and everyone eventually overcomes? Who wouldn't encourage that if they were profiting from it?

Do you even know what's wrong with you, or are you just throwing money at the already financially-saturated, corrupt medical corporations to fix a problem that doesn't even exist?

I'd probably be poor, too, because I'd be honest with people and tell them that they don't need to see me. I'd refuse to act like most people in the medical industry that will prescribe you with medicines you don't need and diagnose you with symptoms you don't have just for the sake of making a few more bucks.

I swear, whoever thought privatizing medicine was a good idea should probably be shot.

Technically I should be seeing a psychiatrist for half a dozen reasons, but I don't see the point.

But don't worry, Fuzzy! Everyone goes through a phase where they think they're socially dysfunctional.

Just suck it up or trash your room or do something to let steam off.
