Started Taking counseling

Freud is psychology for English majors, not reality. It works perfectly for analyzing books, but real people aren't books, and it completely loses it's relevancy with, y'know, the people it was meant for.

Stupid? Well maybe I shouldn't just voice my opinion then. Maybe I should go and hide behind a silly facade and never say what I really mean. I suppose that's what you want me to be, some kind of oppressed little sycophant.

I'm pretty sure that you don't have to laugh for it to be considered a joke.

Anyway, everyone goes through a phase like this. Chances are you have people closer to you than you're willing to admit (which is almost always the case), and you could easily talk to them about anything bothering you, but if you want to throw away your money... go right on ahead.

Social emptiness is only caused by yourself.

I'm a minor, this is free regardless of insurance or not(my family has insurance)which sure beats paying $180 plus some other petty fees to see someone for so little. But I did enjoy talking to her.

ah, some people actually do need counseling, i did when i was younger because i was emotionally unstable nobody really wanted to sit down and just stay there while i talked without interrupting me (even if she listened or not, i still liked having someone in the room while i talked)

I don't really think you have any social awkwardness. You probably just have different interests than the majority of the people around you.

That's why I don't really like my school that much, not too many people are Beatles loving video game playing computer users. I mean I have friends, and I know I'm capable of making friends easily, but I mean when I'm surrounded by sports obsessed people it's hard to fit in.

Most psychological disorders are either made up, the symptoms are so vague that anyone could have them (thus, psychiatrists/psychologists love to diagnose people with them to get a few extra bucks), or so pervasive that probably everyone and his mother and brother have them and don't even know it because they aren't detrimental anyways.

Psychology is a joke.
