The boring bit:
In a sense, I guess it's a bit boring because I picked an awkward minigame to remake to begin with.
The original minigame from Mario Party 8 (called Cardiators) was more or less, a matter of luck, in that whoever got the better cards would obviously win. You just select cards from a table, and watch the monster attack the other player. No true gameplay.
For the most part, my main intention with this was trying to actually set up an RPG-styled battle system, which required learning a new set of functions. The fact it even came out the way it did was a bit of an accomplishment to me. :S
But yeah, unless it's something like Alteil, I find most card games boring to begin with, so meh.
So yeah, no offense taken; just understand that I had to use some advanced GML to make it work.
