Super Mario Bros. 3 once turned on in a way that it loaded corrupted data into the game, all the graphics on the title screen were replaced with other things and the map screen was all over the place. The first level was the best, random objects and enemies everywhere, I couldn't get past a gigantic wall of pipes and blocks so instead I went down the first pipe, which caused me to fall off the bottom of my screen. At this point mario died, and the game froze going back to the map screen. I could never cause this to happen a second time. Also a hilarious Dead Space glitch caused a room I was entering to not load, and the door opened into a completely black area. I walked in and fell forever until the game realised this about 15 seconds later and made me die. So, what interesting glitches have you ran into? In fact, on Gamefaqs, there was a dedicated topic and group of people working on trying to find all of the possibilities with this glitch.
