no theres not

what should we call BRITISH animated drawings then?

Britame?

I also like Canadamation

I dunno, but you shouldn't called Anime cartoons, because that's not what it's called.

besides, anime differs strongly from western cartoons anyway. They have much better animations, much more immersive and mature plots, and sometimes say swear words.

they're drawings put together and animated to create a moving picture

that's what a cartoon basically is

they're cartoons with a fancy name

I would post the intro to the Super Hero Squad Show, but I'm too lazy to search for it.

Swearing doesn't make a show more mature and cool.

Ok, let's take a look at American cartoons.

Johnny Test, for example, is known as one of the most immature shows of all time, and not once does profanity drip from the lips of any of the main characters. On the other hand, we have Neon Genesis Evangelion which is known as one of the DEEPEST animes of ALL TIME, and a character swears at least once or twice an episode.

Point proven.

uh no? put swearing in Johnny Test and he still sounds like a stupid little kid; take the swearing OUT of any show and the cast sounds more mature

swearing doesn't make you mature

swearing doesn't make you mature

Swearing is p. much the rite of passage for any child in the United States. Once one learns to swear, they become a lot more aware of the things around them and develop a sense of responsibility. This responsibility includes knowing when and when not to swear. That's what separates anime from a pig disgusting Ameircan cartoon like South Park.

Swearing is an acquired taste, you would learn to use it properly through superior Japanese anime as opposed to your crummy, childish American shows that use it to be edgy and cool.

Swearing is generally not approved by the real world

period

swear all you want in a show but don't go walking around swearing because it 'seems' to make you so cool and mature
