I dunno, but you shouldn't called Anime cartoons, because that's not what it's called.

besides, anime differs strongly from western cartoons anyway. They have much better animations, much more immersive and mature plots, and sometimes say swear words.

Ok, let's take a look at American cartoons.

Johnny Test, for example, is known as one of the most immature shows of all time, and not once does profanity drip from the lips of any of the main characters. On the other hand, we have Neon Genesis Evangelion which is known as one of the DEEPEST animes of ALL TIME, and a character swears at least once or twice an episode.

Swearing is p. much the rite of passage for any child in the United States. Once one learns to swear, they become a lot more aware of the things around them and develop a sense of responsibility. This responsibility includes knowing when and when not to swear. That's what separates anime from a pig disgusting Ameircan cartoon like South Park.
