Swearing is generally not approved by the real world

period

swear all you want in a show but don't go walking around swearing because it 'seems' to make you so cool and mature

i guess this world is too weak-minded for anime............

Where do you live Sparks? Because I can tell you're not from America or Japan, nations which approve and tolerate the swearing lifestyle.

I bet you don't like gay people, too.

If that were the case then I wouldn't see parents slapping their little kid when they swear in public.

Were you even reading what I was saying earlier? Swearing is a rite of passage, which means it's something that doesn't come until somewhere around puberty. Then parents know that they're ready to swear.

Doesn't mean its acceptable behavior

Obviously it is if it's allowed on public television, and parents aren't slapping their teenaged kids for it on the ass in public.

You do realize Japan is a bad example to use for swearing? They tolerate it more than America does anyway. It's an entirely different culture.

Exactly. So swearing is an acceptable form of communication. It is in America, too, just turn on the TV.

Stop using childhood as an example. Of course you wouldn't hear Thomas the Tank swear, because he's on a show intended for KIDS.

South Park, on the other hand, uses swearing in every other line, and it's a show directed at teenagers.

And what's the matter with basing an entire culture off their media? That's like.... the core of their culture.

then it's not acceptable to the entire society now is it!?

And it drops their IQ at the same time!

Yeah but it's always exaggerated, and only focuses on "interesting" things.

Yep all Americans are either yellow people, always getting into unreal shennanigans with a murderous football headed baby, and then use EVERY SINGLE SITCOM as a good example to explain American life! Makes total sense!

A foreign person reads an American news site which has their opinion on Obama, saying they hate Obama and make up a lot of crap about him. Should he assume that is FACT? According to you yes
