Well sometimes you just have to have seen a bit of it.

Maybe a lot of kids you knew talked about it.

Maybe it was the new toy all the cool kids got.

But you never got it/saw much of it/played it, you just heard so much about it that it that you wanted it and it stuck in your head.

Really the only thing I have nostalgia for in games is the music.

ITT: Incorrect use of ">" for quoting.

To answer the question; I didn't really play OoT til I got it on the N64 with the Collector's Disc (those Dondongos scared me!), and I felt kinda what might be like nostalgia. Mainly of the textures and the like; not of the game itself.

Pretty much. As in, I was the only person I knew when I was a kid who didn't have an NES/SNES/N64/GameCube. I played it a bit at others' houses, maybe. Which is why I was so happy when I got a GC in 03.
