so I've been playing OoT

so I decided to start going through Jabu Jabu's Belly

and I'm remembering why I hated this dungeon so much

Ugh, I hated OoT for the GC -- something just didn't feel right about using the nipple C-stick in place of the actual C-buttons on the N64 remote.

How many times I'd want to use, say, my bow, and -- derp, pullin' out a bomb or something instead!

It doesn't help that Medaf's GC controllers aren't in the best of condition at the moment though...

i hated the c-stick in comparison to the buttons

especially since there was no analog-sensitivity whatsoever when using the c-stick in any games, meaning there was no reason for it to be a stick it could've just been buttons again.

At least they made the controller less incredibly awkward to hold.

I mean, seriously, you need, like, 3 hands to properly hold an N64 controller. What were you thinking, Nintendo?

Though they still can't top Microsoft's design...

There was nothing wrong with the N64 controller -- except that only Mischief Makers had you hold the left handle.

Every single other game was middle and right handle, making it easy to hold but stupid-looking. I never looked down when playing for fear I would laugh at myself and never play N64 again.



Also, I can't speak for the original X-Box, but the 360 has the best controller I've ever used. It's almost perfect.

I get pretty excited every time I touch it.

idk, I've had some minor problems with the C stick, but other than that it's just fine

i still have an original xbox controller

it was like twice as big as my little babby hands back then

anyways yes 360 controller is easily among the best controllers ever and definitely the controller of the generation

didn't the X,Y and Z buttons function as the C buttons

yes, but they suck as C buttons and it's easier just to use the C stick

how so
