whats a furry?

A furry is a person who extensively engages themselves in a society constructed upon the idea that the persons within are akin to animals in spirit, similar to some Native American cultures.

Furries disregard how ****ing BADASS native americans are and **** and yiff and roleplay all the time, making them very nauseating to have any sort of relationship with.

Secondly, furries like furry art, which is art of characters who are covered in fur, and I don't give two ****s if a character is covered in fur when evaluating whether I like them or not and on what grounds.



Third, the only reason I exclusively draw furry / scaly / not-human characters is because I suck too ****ing much to draw human characters.



Therefore, I don't consider myself a furry.

If you're wondering, I have a self-representation character (Febrile, or "Draco") who is arguably furry / scaly (he's a dragon, of course.)

I made him a limited shapeshifter for the primary purpose of having a form that fits with the context.

I never roleplay with him except as Draco, in which case his being a dragon is ignored completely and he's treated as a "regular" human character.

I don't consider myself a furry because furries ONLY love furry artwork, they have NO decency whatsoever, and they ****ING LOVE roleplaying and group orgies with strangers.

... really, the only thing separating an average MFGG'er from furry is a love for animu artwork instead of furry artwork.

And who cares? Everybody has their own definition. If you consider yourself a furry and it doesn't fit with my criteria, I'm not going to argue with you.

The main point is, this isn't so much my definition as my reasoning to why I don't want to be marked "a furry" at the grocery store.

That stereotype is the entire image of the subculture, and I find it repulsive; I don't want to be considered part of that, and whether it's the reality or not is irrelevant; people in general will think I am like that if I'm considered "a furry".
