They're finally doing The Disappearance, Suzumiya Topic. Also Mikuru's Breasts

Looks like we're getting the fourth novel in the form of a movie.

Everyone wanted them to air The Disappearance. Finally it looks like we're getting it. Even though it's in movie form. Which disappoints me because, most likely, it will leave great stuff from the novel out in order to fit the normal time limits of a movie.

However, It took them six episodes to air the plot of the first novel, which would be about 2 hours total (each episode was about 20 minutes excluding the opening and ending). And it was alright compared to the novel.
The second novel was covered decently in five episodes, so like an hour and forty minutes. It was a little fast paced though, I didn't like the anime adaption too much.
The fourth novel being made into a movie, may turn out good. But, I think the time will be too short and stuff will be cut.

Honestly, the show is horrible, but the characters are AWWRIGHT

I was afraid of this.

I knew there was a movie in the works, but an original idea or something else may have been better. The Disappearance seems to lend itself to the episodes better.

It seems JetSet shares the same opinion as me.

I hope that KyoAni surprises us and it's actually comparable to the novel.

I actually used to really like this series. Got into it mainly because it was supposed to be super popular or something and I ended up enjoyinging it a lot.

I dunno, later seasons really didn't hold my interest much, but I'll look into this
