Most cartoons on now suck. Most of them are stupid flash animations and the few that are hand drawn have a very basic style which is fine in its own way but there are almost none which actually have a good deal of effort put into them. The plots are stupid and try to be relevant and edgy which just makes me feel kind of disturbed and violated that im watching it on the cartoon channel. The obvious exceptions to this are superhero shows and still only a few live up to their 90s counterparts. Wolverine and the X-men isn't quite as good as the old one imo, spectacular spiderman blows the old one out of the water and has kickass action scenes but screwed up a few plot thing and gets a bit too... erm "hip" every now and again (usually with eddie brock). Batb is amazing but doesn't match up to the animated series or batman beyond. iron man blows chunks.

see, that was a rant. the rest of you were just making complaints.

More like a minor inquiry that could POSSIBLY be taken negatively.

yeah i know they're totally different styles but it just isn't as good. its still an amazing show, its just incredibly hard to match up to the older ones in that particular case.
