For Minigame Competition #51, I picked the Mario Party 8 minigame, Cardiators.
For those unfamiliar with the minigame:

For this remake, I tried to make it play more like an actual trading card game. At the current moment, I only have this battle engine made:

Battle and Draw System (1.5)Controls:
Left/Right: Pick Card/Unit
X: Confirm Selection
Features:
- Basic Enemy AI, attacks units based on a certain criteria.
- Three unit types: Goomba, Koopa, and Shyguy
- Turn based battle system, units act in order of speed value (same values = random order)
- HP for Mario and Luigi (Players). It's attackable by monsters.
- Draw system (Pick one card from face downs)
- Info Screens, that give you and the target's info.
Expected Features:
- At least 20 other units
- Support/Item cards (give stat boosts, restore HP, etc.)
So yeah, not much, but it gives you a basic idea on what to expect when I'm finished.
