I think the powerups being launched all over the place through cannon is a pretty nice touch, even though it seems like something I'd expect in one of those fanmade flash movies rather than in an actual Nintendo game.

I really like the intro to this game.

I've been noticing at the bottom of some Nintendo game websites (including NSMBWii) that there is a Club Nintendo link down below. Does this mean that Club Nintendo will have stuff related to those game? Not as in Game Add-ons but maybe as merchandise?

I think they're just trying to introduce more people into Club Nintendo.

New Iggy is strange. At first I was like, "Hey New kid for Bowser! But, Iggy's missing."
Then I realized that the new kid IS Iggy.

Personally i think SMW iggy looked the best, white hair and blue shell.

He does look better. The other one creeped me out...

it's not like he's the main character

at best you'll see him in a couple cutscenes before you kill him

now all we need is dry bones versions of all the kids. that'd be sweet, but unlikely.

as far as Iggy goes, as a glasses toting nerd myself, I really dig the changes, makes him more nerdy.

I just now noticed that all their shells are different colors. I didn't realize Ludwig's was deep blue.
I can't tell...is Larry teal or green?
Lemmy is Orange, that's cool i guess.
Roy is Pinkish purple, basically the same he always was, but i noticed is his head the same color as his skin? that's new.
Wendy is unchanged.
Morton's is deep grey or black...that is basically the same as it was.

wait a minute...I always pictured Roy as the big bruiser and Morton was the smaller of the two...wonder why they changed it

also it's interesting to note that the only "generic toads" look like Toad the character, with red spots and blue vests. whereas I believe most recently the generic mushroom people had come to have matching spots and hats, like the toads from the sporting games.

And in the Boss Battle video, Lemmy doesn't have a Lazy eye.

also of note, in the Yoshi riding video, Yoshi, cannot eat coins like he did in SMW. but he can eat and spit out hammers...nice...

Now that they have settled on a redesign and re introduced the characters, will we see more of them do you think? New Mario Kart? Super Mario Galaxy 2?

Once i beat this game I can die happy knowing they didn't forget the Koopalings and that they do...on occasion...listen to the fans.

Also, isn't Larry supposed to be the plant one, not Iggy?
