Even if you believe time to be a spiral rather than a straight line (in b4 jokes about time not being straight), there must be a starting point in order to have a finish.

Time is but an idea of man based upon earth years around the sun, moon years around the earth (a.k.a. months) and the rise and set of the sun. Since it's an idea, and nothing physical (even force is physical), time cannot be manipulated in any way. Time paradoxes will forever be nothing but a fantasy.

Well, that's one theory.

The fun thing about this is that nobody knows for sure what time is, or if it's even something at all.

I did not say time does not exist. It's just not physical, unlike solids, liquids, gasses, plasma and force, those we can toy with.
By the way, the other 3 dimensions are also unchangable. I don't mean the dimensions of an object. Let's say we put a grid in empty space. It shows the x, y and z coordinates in which we can orientate. That's great and all, but there was and is no grid in the first place. It's something man made up, like time. It's just there so we can mesure speed and distance for example.
You can say the greatest paradox in existance is that there are and aren't dimensions.

Darn. I guess I should check the second page a bit more...

The word "paradox"

TBH, I kinda wandered off. And my brain hurts, you may understand. It's just that SCIENTISTS who think time can be changed, let alone REVERSED, shouldn't be called SCIENTISTS in the first place, unless they're imaginary 'course.

I agree that Quarks can do this. Time can be easily manipulated. The faster matter travels, the more time warps around it. Time is also warped more when there is more matter. It could be that splitting a Proton into Quarks causes the Quarks to travel so fast that they warp time enough to travel backwards in time, allowing them to damage the Particle Accelerator that separated them from each other.

The faster matter travels, and the more matter there is in one place, the more time is warped.

Maybe that's what he wants us to think.

I question that logic.
Even if matter travels at infinity km/h, it's still per hour. Even if it's per minute, per second, millisecond, nanosecond, yoctosecond it's still progressing in time. Also, time isn't a matter, so how can it warp?

Maybe there are areas in space where time slows down, but the ageing process should slow down respectively. Still, a second there is a second here. It's like when you're bored, time seems to slow down, and time speeds up when you enjoy yourself. Time itself did not change. And even if it did, reversal in time is physically impossible.

I think the point here is that you don't know what time is and whether it can be influenced, just like everybody else.

You keep talking about things as if this has all been proven and is a law. It hasn't.
