but regardless of what he hasn't done he still has proposed ideas and policies that people may or may not agree with

And I asked what specific proposed policies MarioMK1 disagreed with.

I don't see the problem here.

I don't even like Obama that much but I gained so much respect for him because of this.

Yeah, I love how people say "HE'S SUCH A BAD PRESIDENT" or even "HE'S SUCH A GOOD PRESIDENT" all the time.

Uh, news flash! HE HASN'T EVEN FREAKING DONE BARELY ANYTHING BAD OR GOOD YET. CHRIST.

Political strategy dictates that he should wait at least until the halfway point of his term to begin any notably large projects; right now is devoted more to getting things ready and also giving time to Congress to do what they do best.

Stall and put things off so the President of the opposing party looks bad.

Also, keep in mind Obama needs to keep his trump card -- whatever that may be -- in hand until his term comes to a close. We should start seeing the biggest and most beneficial changes as the electoral period comes back around, because as a president he needs to use those as a bargaining chip to get people to vote for him again.

I dunno, the story was both sweet and a little humourous, too. "Ha ha," seems like a viable response; I see it as being more or less analogous to smiling and chuckling in a face-to-face encounter.

Does that not seem like an appropriate response to you?
