This thread is an attempt at a better thread than what happened last time. In this thread, members will submit Pros and Cons of both Windows and Linux Distros. We will keep this open for anyone to submit to, as long as you do not submit false information. No OS Flamewars please, I'm making this to spread the truth and end the Windows vs Linux Wars.
Opinions, such as User Friendliness, will not be added to this list.

Windows:
+Supports Majority of Programs
+Supports Proprietary Formats
+More known, so more support
-Expensive
-License that Limits its users
-Thousands of Virus Mutations are written every day, and a few new viruses are written daily
-Runs poorly on older hardware

Linux:
+Cheap/Free(Cost)
+License that does not Limit its users
+Supports Majority of Windows Programs(through WINE)
+Very few Viruses are written
+Open-source, which leads to a variety of Pros that most of MFGG will assume are lies and/or opinions
+Runs well on older hardware
-Less known, so less support
-Supports Few Windows Games(through WINE)
-Technical legal issues with supporting certain proprietary formats out of the box

These topics never end well but here goes

-Windows is more known and is on most prebuilt computers, which are more common than self built ones.
-Linux is less known and I don't think its on any prebuilt computers but seem to be the choice for the ones building a computer.

The GM Games would fall under Windows can run Majority of Programs and Linux can't run Majority of Games.

User Friendly is opinion, based on what an user is used to using, which is usually Windows, but some people find Linux Distros more User Friendly.

Linux is found on most prebuilt Servers and quite a few prebuilt Desktops. Windows is a majority, but Linux is out there.

I didn't defend Linux, I listed facts. All I said in my posts that weren't the first post is that Linux cannot run a majority of games and Linux can be found on several servers.

You're asking too much. People eventually get in arguments because they will soon disagree with some point.

...Sorry, Onilink, but it's not gonna work.

I mean, you can't actually restrict people from saying what they want.

I mean, I could here say Windows doesn't fancy me because it's slow on my computer. Why? Because it's my experience.

Also, I could say Linux isn't popular in my home country, therefore there's not much information about it in my language. Why? Because it's my experience.

In a message board, opinions is pretty much all you'll get.
