Actually if something tells an amazing story with unengaging gameplay (Adventure Games) then its still ****ing amazing.

I think you should define content and gameplay.

yeah I was pretty confused about what content meant too, and I think 'gameplay' is too broad.

I like my difficulty to be low at the start and then be very high by the end, however, and there really wasn't a way to show that on here other than going for the middle.

if i'm playing an RPG i'm going to need good gameplay and good story or there's no reason to play it, but there's no need for real multiplayer

and if i'm playing a shootan game, i expect a lot of content and probably some good mulitplayer, but the story isn't that important

gameplay gets maxed out if its an rpg game

I actually agree with Keyser in that gameplay isn't really as important to me as long as the story is keeping me engaged. It's like reading a book, it's tedious and time consuming, but you do it because you like what's there.


Though most of the games I play are RPGs nowadays and I actually like the gameplay in those a lot too.
