I don't have a PS3 and, except for MGS4 and LBP, a non-PS3-player won't know these games.
The Mario- and Halo-Franchises are already etablished, and these are 'newcomers', aka games that only the PS3-owners know, maybe a few people more.
You know, the PS3 needs CELEBRITIES, like Mario for Nintendo, or the Master Chief for Microsoft.
They need a mascot with a good game around him.
Like this strange Japan-only cat, but in America and Europe.
That's Sonys problem.
They should've bought Naughty Dog and the licenses for Crash Bandicoot, and they'd have a GREAT mascot, and a few killer-apps that everyone will know, even bejond the PS3-Fandom.

It's just a ton of RETRO NOSTALGIA ;w;

Also there's usually some plains, a forest, a lake/ocean, desert and a mountain in like every RPG ever and they're all kinda in this order.

Look at the videos. Almost everything looks like it was taken from Zelda. Especially the items.

i know uncharted: drake's fortune looked badass (and uncharted 2 looks twice as badass)
i know resistance is a game about killing aliens
i know killzone is another game about killing aliens (or alien-like creatures)

most other people do too
