Wii2?

This is my main point of contention. Every Nintendo console has had a 5-6 year life cycle. There's valid reasons why this iteration might be cut a little short, but 3 years is pretty ridiculous.

the wii is still selling. that's all the evidence you need to know that this is just a rumor, and that's all it ever will be.

ok so I can move all my VC games and their save data to an SD card...I cannot however move some of my Wii game save data. this aggrevates me.

Well itd be 4 or almost 4 years of 3rd quarter 2010 is the correct date.





I too wonder how/if they'd transfer your VC purchases as well as Mii/saves (save files for games such as wii fit)

Bluray drive sounds counterproductive if they are against sony, because isn't sony behind the whole blu ray thing? Then again it's not like they are the only company that makes bluray players.

(If this leak is true.) Even though they said Nintendo plans on releasing the console in 2010 right now. There is still that chance it can get delayed (like Brawl). And have it's release get bumped into 2011.

Anyway, I hope the hardware gets beefed up, else we Wii-users will miss a lot of games AGAIN or have to live with PS2-like graphics AGAIN, because in that case the lazy game developers can take the odels of the 360-Games (if the Wii2 gets beefed up enough).

And I hope for built-in WiiMotion+ for the Wii2Mote!
And, like already said before, we need less gimmicky casual-games.
