wait a minute, I think I was already doing that.

the point is that it's dumb to trust a new console release from a company like Nintendo if they just go and release a "bigger and better" version shortly thereafter, and then one after that, and then one after that. for everyone who sprung for the earlier versions that end up getting less support than the "latest and greatest" they crank out, they'd have been better off not buying anything until the console was done being beaten to death.
the problem is, it's hard to tell when nintendo's done doing **** like this. you might have thought the ordinary DSi would be the last time they pull this ****, but now you'd know better.
