This model is actually one of oldest custom models which I first built in 2004 from Krekka and Nuurahk parts. When the Toa Inika were released in 2006 I started using the style of the framework used on them to greatly improve the general design of this and my later models. You probably can't tell from the images, but the head was a bit tricky to make.

With Vekria I had a lot of red pieces to use and as a result had a lot to work with. At first I wasn't a fan of how the neck came out but I got over it. I'm really pleased how the jetpack came out though.

Do you just tape a bunch of topics on a dartboard and then ***** about whatever the dart lands on?

I used to make one huge one with every part I had...
but it looked terrible, and always fell apart, I think I'll try again just for fun one day.

I know nothing of bionicle after Mata Nui.

Bits of the Metru Nui bit, but that's it.

Wow, those are awesome. I like the names, they fit right into the bionicle concept very well.
I also try to do things like this with spare parts I find lying around.
