| QUOTE (Kyori @ Nov 1 2009, 06:17 PM) | Finding out that cumin kills cancer cells doesn't necessarily mean that they've found the cure!
It's good news, but it's not a cure; though it could lead to one. |
Not cumin, turmeric. The extract's called "curcumin".
Besides, curcumin is just an antioxidant, many compounds of the sort can delete cancer when in contact with it. Berries, coffee, tea, leafy greens, among others have plenty of antioxidants, and all of them can hold a nice battle against cancer.
Cancer, after all, is just a cell malfunction, and oxidation is one of the causes.
Oh, and yellow mustard has tons of turmeric (only when naturally colored, I mean, curcumin is ****ing yellow man, and turmeric has a lot of it, lol, there's a reason why curcumin was named after Curcuma longa after all, and before I forget: people use it to color mustard yellow), so yeah, yellow mustard helps with cancer too! **** yeah!
