| QUOTE (ChaosEmerl @ Nov 6 2009, 08:07 PM) | I have been in a position where I thought I was in love, but I later realized how silly that notion was. Because as soon as I started to learn more about that person, I realized they really weren't the kind of person I thought they were.
After that it kind of hit me. How can you fall in love if you don't even know everything about somebody? Once you learn everything about somebody and you still insist on loving them, that's not "falling in love". It's just analyzing their qualities and saying "I really like this person, they would be a good match for me." You can call this love if you wish, but love, in the form of a magical force that follows you around and dictates who would be a match for you, before you even know somebody, doesn't exist. |
Aren't you being a little over-analytical?
You'll never know everything about someone EVER, but there does exist natural chemistry between people. This is the "binding force" that you seem to keep wanting to call "magic."
