i'm not going to bother for a while.

there is a stigma about living with your parents after graduating from high school, which i am currently doing because i would like to have financial security, which in this day and age is probably a smart idea.

but most women believe it's a sign of weakness to want to live like that.

Lulz at people taking casual relationships as being serious business and getting butthurt over them.

Most early- to mid-high school relationships aren't going to go anywhere, and if you're weak of heart -- which admittedly is no crime and we're all pretty much guilty of -- you're better off either ignoring the opposite sex until they get some wits and sense of loyalty, or taking relationships just as casually as your significant other does.

That way you don't spend your late-high school/college years moping about some relationship that anyone could have told you wasn't going to work out and losing out on real opportunities for a quality relationship.

I didn't think it was restricted to one person...

Well it is.

People also need to figure out that love, lust, and infatuation are not the same thing.

Quoted for truth.

If you still don't know the difference between these, than you're probably not ready for a serious, long-term relationship, anyways. The first part of understanding the world and other people around you is understanding yourself; you can't love if you're too unstable and confused about your own self and identity -- and part of this understanding comes as a knowledge of the difference between these three similar-feeling, but very different emotions.

Oh cool, that's something I'm always telling people that are going "Baaawww, no one loves me. I hate myself blahblahblah"

Except I condense it and just say, "You can't love someone else if you don't love yourself first."

This is the main issue, especially during teenage years. Raging hormones can make lust or infatuation seem like love.

I very much agree with Mrs. Aforcer on this one. I think most young people would be wise to wait until high school or college or even later to treat a relationship seriously, as bad as it would be for lunchroom drama.

And if you really want to know the truth, her name was Emily Parker. She was nice in a real way and did many nice things for people (and was very good-looking), but I never had the guts to tell her what I really thought. I'm also not sure she was really right for me. Don't go around telling the world, though.

Lastly, good luck Slamman.

Her page isn't public. Besides, that's a really common name. Regardless, playing Google detective is insanely fun.
