Playing L4D2 Demo, more like have been playing…

Ridiculously fun, and the controls are a lot tighter. The melee is balanced and incredibly weaker than the guns (Really only good for large crowds and hordes), so it's not at all ridiculous or overpowered.

But the game is 10 BILLION TIMES HARDER. (which I love, but most people will ***** and moan about)

New items are sweet and useful, since the enemies are more strategic and difficult. Tanks, Spitters, and Wandering Witches will **** YOU UP.




Definitely a good continuation to the original. I can understand why they made it a sequel, not an expansion. I can't wait to play the full version.

Agree still miss L4D 1 characters

melee makes the game extremely easy (machete - > proceed to kill every SE and common you find in one blow, save for tanks and to an extent witches which die to a quick set of melee blows and can apparently be one-shot by 2 melee weapons that aren't in the demo) and wandering witches can be one-shot by any shotgun even easier than cr0wning in the first game

however melee at the same time also makes the game stupidly fun and hilarious which is great

Why bother with the front?

Also I hope dearly that they'll nerf the machete. It's too good compared to the others

this is why you slash them from the front once or push them back with machete melee, then quickly rush around and slice them from the side (the hitbox is so ****ed up that it registers as their back, much like TF2)

Or, more easily, roll with Germans

Give it a few weeks and I'm sure there will a L4D2 mod where you can play as the L4D1 characters.

Apparently, if you have the original game you can unlock Louis, Bill, Zoey, and Francis for gameplay.

Also, there's gonna be a "realistic mode" that ****s your **** up bad. Defibs don't always work, no item auras, no retrieving friends from closets, body shots do less damage, etc.


Also, L4D2 isn't as much a sequel as it is a simultaneous event. Just like Crash Course was released recently, Valve will still continue updating L4D at random intervals.
