Well, I still think that, if it were opened for viewing immediately, that would be a pretty bad idea. =P

In fact, better idea: Let's make it so that no forums can be viewed except Fangame Discussion, so that every time someone says that the site was never exclusively about fangaming, we just link them to the archives! Debates would be resolved in 8 seconds.
