WORRRRD UP! Group: Members Posts: 930 Member No.: 4185 Joined: 29-July 07 Status: (0d)	Exactly two weeks ago, I had my computer (Windows XP) taken to a repair shop (reason: viruses that blocked ALL programs b/c they were "infected" and infinite pop-ups to buy an "anti-virus program") They told us at first it'll take 5-6 business days (Last Thursday or Friday) No response that Friday so we called and then they claim the Monday or Tuesday we just had. Then yesterday we called again and then said late Friday (today) and still no call saying it's done. One of these excuses they're giving us: Having a problem transfering all programs back into the computer (and there was nothing worth losing when we turned it in and told them so.) Our family is getting REALLY pissed at them. We are currently stuck with my dad's old laptop that takes forever to load anything which does not have PowerPoint and my Bro's laptop that for some reason won't work with our printer. I don't know what the ** they are doing but it feels like they are just procrastinating. A computer with a bad virus should not take THAT long to fix. well if you told them that you didn't give a **** about what's on it, they should've just wiped it and reinstalled xp

that would've taken like maybe a few hours

when this happens i can just reinstall the OS and download avira or something to clean up
