I can imagine if you sprited something more like when Wario gets fat after eating a cake in WL2/3; More than twice his own size. But... your sprite just looks like a bad normal Mario sprite. Make him actually look like he has to lug his fatness around, maybe some animations of him being jiggly.

I SO think a Wario transformations contest would kick ass. Making Wario transformation for different people in the Mario universe.
