Okay...I'm really starting to get pissed off. Anyway, I got the download to work but it won't let me link to it from another site, even if you right-click and save target as. So you actually have to go to the site and click the download link I give you.

Okay, again 0.1 update. -_- Stop making these. Nobody wants to always download new version when update is like: LOLZ 1.41 I fixed Mario's animation. Stop adding numbers or the full version will most likely be v. 24.124345.

Now to actual review:

Engine is pretty nice but Mario still shouldn't jump that high when running. I also found thing which annoys the hell out of me. When Mario hits enemy (when he's in Super or Fire) Mario should be invisible for like 5 second. You know when Mario blinks he's invisible. I recommend adding that. Level design isn't bad but not so awesome either and you should make more completeable (I don't know if that's even word) levels. Sound is that same unoriginal music again.

I would say 6/10 would be rating for this demo.

Nice engine so far, but my biggest concern is how Mario can jump so high with so little momentum. On top of that when he's jumping up from under a platform, he freaking flies, man. Fix that.

Otherwise, this looks good.

Most of the things you guys said to work on, I have been working on. And I actually do have a blinking Mario object for when he shrinks but for some reason it's refusing to set the alarm, even though I had the powering down Mario set the alarm for the parent object -_- And I know the music sucks, but its the only one I have with a sped-up version (for when the timer reaches 100) And as for the level design: THAT WAS A TEST ROOM. I took no time with the level, I just made sure it had an example of all of my objects.

Good engine, but this is a big complaint I have. Most games I see use the Mario World backgrounds while it plays the same mediocre SMW midi. It's not anything fundamentally wrong with the game, it's just that the "Yoshi's Island stage" motif is getting kinda bland.

And one glitch- if you get hit from the sides by a goomba, you get hit as soon as you detransform, meaning instadeath.

Well I have the blinking Mario object. I just didn't use it because the alarm won't work. In the next version I'm making a better level, enable the flashing, and other stuff. I also am going to make the save/load the way it is in SML2 were the save files are pipes you enter, and there's an erase pipe were you come out as a Bobomb and you can go in the save pipe to erase it. =D

Uh no. Right now in 1.5 I'm making World 1, saving and loading, a help file screen with animated graphics, and maybe the story. So I'm submitting 1.5
